Buddhist Gumba Reading UK (BGRUK) successfully hosted a historic 21 Jambhala Empowerment and Dharma Deshana event at Empire Hall, Aldershot on Sunday, 7th June 2026. The highly auspicious gathering drew a crowd of more than 500 devout attendees from across the region.
- Spiritual Leadership: The sacred ceremonies were led by His Holiness Kyabje Gyang Khang Rinpoche, alongside a venerable assembly of 14 distinguished Gurus.
- Community Unity: The event saw strong representation from major local organizations, community leaders, and various religious heads.
- Immense Success: Devotees experienced a powerful day of blessings, spiritual transmission, and community bonding.
To ensure the profound teachings were accessible to a wider, diverse audience, BGRUK provided seamless, simultaneous translation into three languages:
- Nepali: Translated by the BGRUK Mula Guru Khenrinpoche Shirlama Guru.
- Chinese: Translated by Tulku Lhatse Guru.
- English: Translated by Tulku Tenzin Suktul Guru.
The event was run by General Secretary Kamal Gurung and on the otherhand hand Mrs Mina Kumari Gurung and VP. Nar Bahadur Gurung have facilitated to run the Puja ceremonies smoothly.
This thoughtful multilingual approach allowed all attendees to fully engage with the Dharma Deshana and understand the essence of the 21 Jambhala empowerment.
